Apple hasn’t officially released the specs for the soon-to-be-released iPhone 4 yet, but Gizmodo has, based on leaked photos of the upcoming device upgrade and developers sessions at last week’s WWDC (World Wide Developers Conference).

The new device–formerly known as the iPhone 4G, though not a 4G device and as distinct from the iPhone OS 4  operating system, aka iOS 4, which once released can be downloaded onto iPhone 3GS devices–goes on sale to the public on June 24.

The iPhone 4 will come with 512 MB of built in RAM for what they’re promising will be “robust performance”. That’s twice the system memory in the iPad and the iPhone 3GS. This extra memory will allow the iPhone 4 to avail users of iOS 4′s multitasking capabilities.

Though the iPhone 4 doesn’t hit stores until Thursday, June 24, the iOS 4 will available for purchase as of Monday, June 21.
